Dr Chen Muyun, from Thailand, has lived in Kunming for over ten years. From a temporary stay to a permanent residence, she considers Yunnan her second home. During this year's Two Sessions, she paid special attention to the connectivity brought about by the opening of the high-speed rail. The visa-free policy between China and Thailand has already made it possible to fly from Bangkok to Kunming on a whim. She looks forward to the early completion of the China-Thailand railway: "For us young people, this means lower costs and more opportunities."
