The 2026 Yunnan Chuxiong Yongren Costume Competition was grandly held. This folk festival, which carries the cultural memory of the Yi people for thousands of years, featured teams from the village taking turns on stage with original dance steps. Men, women, and children wore brightly colored Yi costumes that they had embroidered themselves, wearing the Yi embroidery clothing passed down through generations and dancing in the mountains.
