The first batch of 32 tons of macadamia nuts from Myanmar was recently imported through Mengding Qingshuihe Port. Since the start of this year, agricultural and food imports at the port have grown significantly. In the first 10 months, the total volume was 403,000 tons, with a value of 410 million RMB, increasing by 86.6% and 195.7% year-on-year, respectively. The harvesting season of Myanmar nuts complements China's season, providing a continuous and stable supply of raw materials for the market and meeting the growing demand for snack foods and baking.
