Tea Innovation in the Lab! Yunnan Students Revitalize Traditional Tea

At the Tea College of Yunnan Agricultural University, students are exploring innovative possibilities for tea. They are transforming traditional tea into skincare  products like tea hand cream and tea face cream, while also developing new-style tea beverages and tea-infused snacks. Through repeated experiments in the lab, students have successfully combined Yunnan’s signature Pu'er tea with Chinese olive (Phyllanthus emblica), creating uniquely flavored products. Such initiatives are not only breathing new life into ancient tea traditions but also injecting youthful energy into the tea industry.
