The China-Laos Railway has now facilitated over 600,000 international passenger trips, serving travelers from 115 countries and regions worldwide. This railway has not only significantly reduced travel time between Kunming and Vientiane but also boosted tourism and trade along the route. This year alone, cross-border passenger trips have reached 204,000. To meet the growing demand, railway authorities have increased train frequencies, expanded service ranges, and added more seating options. Today, the China-Laos Railway transports large numbers of passengers daily between the two destinations, fostering cultural and economic exchanges between China and South and Southeast Asian countries.
