On the evening of September 28, the “Colorful Clouds Chasing the Moon · Deep Friendship with Neighbors" 2025 China-Cambodia Mid-Autumn Festival Gala, jointly organized by Cambodia's Ministry of Information, Ministry of Tourism, the Publicity Department of the Yunnan Provincial Committee, and the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia, was held in the banquet hall of the Sofitel Phokeethra Hotel in Phnom Penh. This gala served as a key cultural exchange event for the "2025 China-Cambodia Tourism Year," leveraging the Mid-Autumn Festival as an opportunity to bring together the cultural highlights of both nations, celebrate traditional friendship, and jointly welcome the Mid-Autumn Festival.

The event was attended by nearly 500 guests, including Aun Pornmoniroth, Standing Committee Member of the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party and Chairman of the Cambodia-China Friendship Association; Pak Sokhom, Secretary of State of the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism; Kem Gunawadh, Secretary of State of the Cambodian Ministry of Information; Wang Wenbin, Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia; relevant leaders from the Publicity Department of the Yunnan Provincial Committee; and representatives from various sectors of Cambodian society. Attendees expressed that China and Cambodia are good neighbors and partners connected by mountains and rivers, sharing a close bond like lips and teeth, and are truly "ironclad friends" who stand together through thick and thin.
