China has been Vietnam's largest trading partner for more than 20 consecutive years, and the bilateral trade volume between China and Vietnam exceeded 260 billion US dollars in 2024. More and more high-quality Vietnamese agricultural products, such as durians, have entered Chinese households. In 2024, China imported 738,000 tons of durians from Vietnam, valued at 2.94 billion US dollars, with the quantity and value increasing by 49% and 38% year-on-year respectively.
