On February 18, Xishuangbanna welcomed a 15-person team of tourists from Laos and Thailand. This was the first visa-free group since the implementation of the 144-hour visa-free policy for ASEAN tourist groups on February 10. According to the new policy, tourist groups of 2 or more from 10 ASEAN countries, including Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand, can enter Xishuangbanna through airports and land ports without a visa and stay for no more than 144 hours. With the deepening of the visa-free policy, Xishuangbanna will launch more special tourist routes in the future to attract more tourists to explore!
