Recently, at a farmer's banquet in Nanjian Yi Autonomous County, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, the Yi people's dance performance added a strong flavor of the New Year to the festival. The Yi dance, also known as the "dance of lifting dishes", is a national intangible cultural heritage. It is not only a ceremonial dance, but also a vivid embodiment of Yi culture.
