On December 19, China-Vietnam cross-border direct highway transportation was launched in Kunming, Yunnan. Three new direct routes were opened for this cross-border direct highway transportation, namely Kunming-Haiphong, Kunming-Tuyen Quang, and Wenshan-Ha Giang. Trucks will transport vegetables and textiles to Vietnam, and transport durian and other fruits back to China. The successful launch of the cross-border direct highway transportation has promoted the facilitation of cross-border logistics between China and Vietnam, shortened transportation time, reduced costs, and built a stable and smooth cross-border industrial chain supply chain for both sides.
