The Dendrobium industry is a characteristic pillar industry in Longling County, Baoshan City, Yunnan Province. Longling has also earned the reputation of "Hometown of Purple Dendrobium in China". Longling Purple Dendrobium has become the first Dendrobium variety in China to obtain "medicine and food homology" access. At present, 46,000 mu of Dendrobium is about to be harvested, and Longling County has fully launched the sampling of fresh Dendrobium strips. The output of fresh Dendrobium strips is expected to reach 13,500 tons in 2024, with an output value of 8.1 billion yuan.
