In Pupeng Village, Shanyang Town, Yongping County, thousands of acres of sloping land along the Lancang River are covered with millet and plantains.  At present, the millet and banana planting scale in Pupeng Village reaches 3,100 acres, which has become an effective way for local people to sustainably increase their income.
