The 14th Winter Games opened in Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia, China.  

The five highlights of this opening ceremony are eye-catching: first, the three-dimensional stage’s “seeing the big from the small” design, cleverly using a variety of image carriers to infinitely expand the limited space; second, the cultural elements are distinctive, showing the magnificent mountains and rivers of Inner Mongolia and the unity of the nation, the beauty of the sports; third, the athletes' appearances were brilliant, showing the magnificent picture of the great beauty of China; fourth, the sports spirit was inspiring, and the new look of the Chinese sports spirit in the new era was demonstrated through the recitation of "Ode to the Chinese Sports Spirit";

finally, the lighting ceremony "blended digital and real" to achieve indoor and outdoor linkage, lighting the main torch tower, and pushing the atmosphere to a climax.
