In recent years, Yunnan Province has relied on its comparative and absolute advantages to focus on key industry areas, promote the deep integration of green energy and green manufacturing, and achieve the rapid development of "green electricity + advanced manufacturing".  Statistics show that in the first quarter, the added value of industries above designated size in the province increased by 5.4% year-on-year, and the growth rate accelerated by 0.1 percentage points from January to February.

Green aluminum, silicon photovoltaics, and new energy batteries—the “three new items” of Yunnan industry are rising strongly, showing huge development potential.  The "three new items" contributed a total of 45% to the industrial growth rate above designated standards, becoming a new driving force for industrial growth and injecting new vitality into Yunnan's economic development.
