This year's Water Splashing Festival coincides with the first anniversary of the launch of the China-Laos Railway international passenger train. From April 13th to 15th, the number of passengers transported by the Yumo Section of the China-Laos Railway reached 178,000, an increase of 18.7% compared with the same period last year.  

The China-Laos railway not only ignited the tourism industry along the route, stimulated new consumption momentum, promoted cultural exchanges and economic and trade cooperation between China and Laos, but also became an important link connecting countries in the region.
