Ashan County has given full play to the advantages of Ashan's photovoltaic resources, using centralized photovoltaic power generation projects as the starting point, vigorously promoting distributed photovoltaic power generation projects throughout the county, and building "photovoltaic +" projects to inject new green momentum into the high-quality development of Asan.  

On the top of a hill in Dianzhong Town, Ashan County, rows of photovoltaic panels are stacked up into well-proportioned "terraces" to continuously deliver clean electricity.  The photovoltaic power generation project was constructed by Three Gorges New Energy Ashan County Co., Ltd. with an investment of 2.8 billion yuan, which solved the shortage of rural industries and the diversified needs of clean energy development.  Since it was put into power generation, it has generated a total of 43.0104 million kilowatt hours (kWh) by the end of 2023, with an operating income of 10.7203 million yuan.
