On March 16, local time, Bangladesh's first land-sea integrated oil storage and transportation project was officially put into operation. The first batch of diesel and crude oil was transported to Dongfang Refinery through a project built by the Pipeline Bureau.  This project is Bangladesh’s flagship project to realize Vision 2041 and an important achievement of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative. It will greatly improve transportation efficiency and reduce transportation costs.  The entire chain of the project uses Chinese funds, technology, equipment and construction. It has also created nearly 4,000 jobs, becoming a new energy artery in Bangladesh and easing energy tension.
